What data do we collect?

Contact data: Name, email address, phone number, and travel preferences when you complete a form or contact us.
Analytics data: Aggregated statistics about how the website is used – for example how long you stay on a page or which articles are most popular.
Transaction data: If you purchase advisory packages, we record invoice details and payment status.

Contact data is stored for up to 24 months after the last interaction, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Booking-related information concerning financial matters is retained as required by accounting legislation. Cookies expire automatically after 1–24 months depending on type, but you may manually delete them in your browser.
Your rights

Third-party providers
We use the following services:
Hosting: Cloudways (servers located in the EU). Data is stored on secure servers with access controls.
Analytics: Google Analytics (IP anonymisation enabled) and Matomo Cloud.
Email: Google Workspace. Messages are encrypted in transit.
Payments: Stripe or bank transfer if you order paid services. We never store card data.
CRM: Notion and HubSpot for managing customer cases. Data is anonymised when a case is closed.
Security
The website uses HTTPS, and access to the administration system is restricted via multi-factor authentication. We regularly update software and plugins to minimise security risks. If a data breach occurs that affects your information, we will notify you and the Danish Data Protection Authority within 72 hours.
Transfers to third countries
Some of our providers operate servers outside the EU/EEA. In such cases, we use EU Standard Contractual Clauses and ensure the provider complies with European security standards. For example, Google Analytics may process data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Children and young people
Neon Resort is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18 years of age. If you believe we have received information from a minor, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.
Updates to this policy
We update this policy when we change our technical setup or introduce new services. The version and date appear at the top of the page. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated policy.
